Position : Senior Manager - Catalogue MDM Location : Gurgaon Reporting to : Head Category Job Description: Company Overview: Ferns N Petals is a leading online platform for gifting solutions, offering a wide range of products including flowers, cakes, plants, personalized gifts, and gift hampers. With a legacy of providing heartfelt gifting experiences, we are now seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join our team as the Senior Manager - Catalogue MDM. Position Overview: As the Senior Manager - Catalogue MDM, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of product and item data. Person will also be responsible for optimizing data processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role require strong understanding of data management principles, technology, and business processes to excel in this role. Reporting of this role is to the Head - Category, FNP. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for overseeing and implementing strategies to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the organization's master data. - Developing and maintaining data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and compliance with regulations. Ensure compliance with data quality standards, data classification, and data access controls. - Monitor data quality metrics and implement corrective actions as needed. - Creating and executing a comprehensive MDM strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. - Managing the integration of master data from different sources, including data extraction and transformation and using the same to arrive at optimum serviceability, right product mapping hence help achieve optimal revenue - Defining data mappings and transformations to ensure data interoperability across systems. - Monitoring and maintaining the integrity of master data records over time, including data de-duplication and data enrichment efforts. - Managing changes to master data structures and processes, including data migration and system upgrades. - Understand and own the entire Product mapping process. Collaborate with product managers, merchandising, and other relevant teams to ensure data accuracy. - Components : Creation, maintenance, usage in product creation. - Component to Product mapping hence arriving at the right product landing and selling basis organisational margin structure. - Product to City and Vendor mapping as this involves city level availability. Identify and map what all types of shipping can be associated with a product / partner / zone / city Qualifications and Requirements: Required Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Business and Data Management and Analytics related field along with MBA is required. - Proven experience in catalogue management, data management within the gifting, retail, or related industry. - Proficiency in MDM tools and technologies. - Understanding of the Gifting, Flower, Cake, Plant, and Personalized product categories will be preferred. - Strong track record of supporting the business growth with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions based on current market trends would be preferred. Behavioural Skills: - Good communication skills, negotiation presentation and interpersonal skills. - Should have analytical mindset with a focus on data quality improvement.
