Qualifications and Skill Requirements - Qualified Fellow Actuary or close to qualification - 7 to 10 years of experience in delivering varied non-life actuarial projects - Experience in leading a team of individuals working across multiple projects. Any on-shore experience will be an added advantage - Extensive experience in claims reserving. Knowledge of London Market experience will be highly valued. Knowledge of Solvency II, SCR, Capital Modelling and GAAP audits for UK insurance companies will be an added advantage - Good communication skills across multiple stakeholders and ability to handle varied projects - Excellent team player with ability to coach and mentor junior team members Responsibilities - Lead and manage the UK non-life insurance actuarial team of close to 13 members - Guide, mentor and manage the team members - Focus on business growth in other EMEIA regions - Stay updated with the current industry trends and regulatory requirements - Delegation and execution of projects with focus on timelines, communications and quality - Maintain a strong quality focus and maintain/develop productive working relationships with clients and other team members
