Role Overview:
- We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Controller to lead the finance and accounting function across geographies like USA, Ireland, and India region.
- This role is critical to ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and audit readiness for a mid-sized multinational organization in the Pharma/Specialty Chemicals sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial accounting, reporting, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure adherence to IFRS, US GAAP, IND AS, and local statutory requirements.
- Manage consolidation of financials across entities and geographies.
- Oversee statutory audits, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Handle domestic and international taxation (Direct & Indirect).
- Manage cross-border corporate structures, including overseas parent/subsidiary entities.
- Lead vendor and investor due diligence processes.
- Prepare and present MIS, investor, and board-level reporting.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Oversee day-to-day banking operations and cash management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Operations.
- Lead and mentor a finance team of 7-15 professionals.
- Work closely with Private Equity/Venture Capital stakeholders.
- Leverage SAP or similar ERP systems for financial operations.
- Experience in global startup environments is a strong advantage.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) - preferably qualified in the first or second attempt.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a similar leadership role.
- Strong exposure to manufacturing sector controllership.
- Hands-on experience in global accounting standards and multi-country financial operations.
- Proven track record in managing audits, compliance, and reporting in a multinational setup.
