Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Private Equity transactions, capital raising, pitch development, due diligence, and valuation techniques. In this fast-paced environment, you will work closely with senior management to execute high-impact investment banking and private equity transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), debt and equity offerings, and financial advisory mandates.

Key Responsibilities:

- Private Equity Transactions (Mandatory): Actively participate in and support private equity investments, including deal sourcing, evaluation, execution, and portfolio analysis.

- Capital Raising: Lead and support capital raising initiatives through equity or debt offerings by preparing investor presentations, managing investor communication, and engaging with institutional and strategic investors.

- Pitch Development: Develop and present compelling investment proposals and pitch books tailored to client and investor requirements.

- Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive financial, commercial, and operational due diligence to support investment banking and private equity transactions.

- Valuation Analysis: Perform valuation exercises using DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.

- Financial Modelling: Build and maintain robust financial models to support transaction evaluation, investment decisions, and deal structuring.

- Secretarial & Planning: Coordinate transaction-related documentation, meetings, timelines, and follow-ups to ensure smooth execution.

Qualifications:

Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. CA or MBA is preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum 6 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity (mandatory), or corporate Finance.

- Prior experience with Private Equity firms is essential.

- Exposure to Venture Capital (VC) will be an added advantage.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of Private Equity deal processes and capital raising

- Expertise in pitching, investor presentations, and pitch book development

- Deep knowledge of valuation methodologies

- Advanced financial modelling and due diligence capabilities

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a high-pressure environment

- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial tools

Preferred Certifications:

- CA (Chartered Accountant)

- MBA (Master of Business Administration)

- CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
