We are building the future of Indian fashion and we're looking for a strategic Finance Controller to be at the financial helm of this growth journey.

Role Overview:

As the Finance Controller, you will lead all financial operations, ensuring fiscal discipline, audit compliance, and strategic fund management. You will work closely with leadership across the FEF ecosystem (including retail, events, media, and investments) to support our ambitious scale-up plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

- Manage and oversee the full P&L of the company and business verticals.

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

- Partner with leadership to evaluate financial models for new ventures (e.g. store openings, brand partnerships, show formats).

- Support financial strategy for global expansion, including market assessments, compliance, and cost modeling.

Fund Management:

- Monitor cash flow, capital expenditure, and ROI on funded initiatives.

- Ensure optimal fund allocation across business units and timely utilization reporting.

- Coordinate with investors and stakeholders on fund performance updates.

Audit & Compliance:

- Lead internal and statutory audits ensuring financial hygiene and risk management.

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GST, company law, and other statutory frameworks.

- Maintain robust internal controls and financial governance practices.

Reporting & Analysis:

- Generate accurate and timely MIS reports, financial statements, and dashboards.

- Analyze financial performance, highlight risks/opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making.

Team & Process Management:

- Build and manage a high-performing finance team.

- Streamline finance operations including AR/AP, reconciliations, vendor management, and payroll in coordination with HR and operations.

Key Requirements:

- 8-12 years of experience

- Strong command over P&L ownership, audit processes, and fund/cash flow management.

- Experience in start-ups, retail, or Venture Studios is preferred.

- Professional qualification: CA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or equivalent.

- Strong understanding of Indian compliance, taxation, and company law.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
