Position Title: Key Account Manager

Job Purpose/Mandate:

A brief summary of the overall purpose of the role within the organization

The primary purpose of the Key Account Manager is to managing strategic partnerships with prominent clients such as HUFT, Just Dogs, Vetic, Petsy, Loyal Pet Zone, and others.

The role aims to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share by formulating and executing effective sales strategies, fostering strong relationships with key accounts, and ensuring operational excellence.

Specific duties and responsibilities:

Key Account Management:

- Manage key accounts, including HUFT, Just Dogs, Vetic, Petsy, Loyal Pet Zone, and others.

- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key account partners to drive growth and profitability.

Revenue Growth & Profitability:

- Drive revenue growth and profitability through strategic sales solutions, data analytics, and channel partner alliances.

- Achieve rapid revenue growth upon onboarding new partners.

Business Operations & Budgeting:

- Oversee profit center operations to meet sales and revenue targets.

- Manage the profit center budget for operational and business development activities.

Market Strategy and Analysis:

- Implement effective sales and marketing strategies to enhance the client experience.

- Identify and target new market segments and customer groups through market segmentation and penetration strategies.

- Ensure partner viability by delivering a healthy return on investment (ROI).

Knowledge and skills:

Minimum education and/or experience required:

1. MBA is a must

2. 5 + years of marketing and sales experience with consumer products

3. Demonstrated sales experience in the Pet Food segment
