Family Office Manager - Wealth Management

This role is for the family office of a young promoter founder behind one of India's most successful and very good QSR/FMCG businesses

Role Overview:

The Family Office Manager will oversee the financial, administrative, and operational affairs of the Family Office. This role requires a strong background in finance, accounting, compliance, and investment coordination, along with the discretion and agility to manage multifaceted personal and business-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Oversight & Investment Administration:

- Coordinate with investment advisors, private bankers, and fund managers for portfolio updates and decisions.

- Monitor liquidity, account balances, and currency exposure across family entities.

- Track investment performance (IRR, benchmarks, and valuations) across asset classes.

- Manage budgets, expense approvals, and financial controls for family operations.

- Liaise with accountants for tax planning, filings, and compliance.

- Oversee holding companies, SPVs, and cross-border structures ensuring regulatory adherence.

2. Accounting, Reporting & Audit:

- Maintain accurate books across family entities (companies, trusts, foundations).

- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate audits and filings.

- Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated balance sheets and net-worth summaries.

- Design and implement internal controls, approval workflows, and cost allocations.

- Introduce or manage accounting/dashboards for consolidated reporting.

3. Governance & Risk Management:

- Ensure legal, tax, and compliance obligations are met across jurisdictions.

- Oversee insurance coverage (property, health, life, key-person).

- Maintain and update trust deeds, wills, and shareholder agreements.

- Coordinate with legal counsel for contracts, NDAs, and property documentation.

- Develop governance frameworks and standard operating policies for the family office.

4. Operational Management:

- Manage and supervise staff and service providers (accountants, drivers, chefs, domestic staff).

- Oversee contracts, payments, and maintenance of homes, vehicles, and office spaces.

- Maintain confidential records, digital security, and information systems.

- Coordinate logistics, travel, and emergency responses as required.

5. Lifestyle & Concierge Support:

- Oversee household management, lifestyle expenses, and asset upkeep.

- Coordinate travel, events, education planning, and healthcare logistics for family members.

- Maintain the highest levels of discretion, trust, and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) in Finance / Accounting / Wealth Management.

Experience:

- 7-10 years of total experience, with at least 3-5 years managing family office, private wealth, or multi-entity finance operations.

- Experience with investment tracking, taxation, and compliance for HNIs or entrepreneurs preferred.

- Exposure to cross-border financial structures, trusts, and estate planning is an advantage.

- Strong understanding of Indian and international tax laws, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

- Alternatively, experience in a Big 4 private client/tax division, a wealth management

- Tech-savvy with working knowledge of accounting and reporting systems.

- Mature, ethical, and capable of managing sensitive matters independently.
