Investment Manager - Family Office - Unlisted Portfolio (VC/PE/Family Office talent only)

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Office Investment Manager to join a prominent Family Office based in Bangalore. This role focuses on managing the Family Office's unlisted portfolio, encompassing venture capital and private equity investments. The Investment Manager will work closely with the CIO and other senior members of the investment team to source, evaluate, execute, and monitor direct investments and fund commitments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential direct investments and fund opportunities, analyzing financial statements, market trends, and competitive landscapes to assess risk and return.

- Source and screen potential investment opportunities across various sectors, leveraging industry contacts and research to identify promising ventures.

- Develop and present investment recommendations to the CIO and investment committee, articulating the rationale, risks, and potential returns of each opportunity.

- Manage existing portfolio investments, monitoring performance, engaging with portfolio companies, and identifying opportunities to enhance value.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with fund managers, entrepreneurs, and other industry participants to expand the Family Office's network and access to deal flow.

- Prepare regular performance reports and portfolio updates for the CIO and other stakeholders, providing insights into investment performance and market trends.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence on private companies and investment funds.

- Proven track record of sourcing, evaluating, and executing successful venture capital or private equity investments.

- Strong understanding of the venture capital and private equity landscape, including market trends, investment strategies, and key players.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate investment recommendations and build relationships with stakeholders.

- Experience in fund management, investment management, or asset management, specifically with alternative investments.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

- 3-10 years of relevant experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or family office operations.
