Role Title: President Strategic Partnerships & Alliances.
Reporting to: CEO.
Location: Open (India) | Extensive Travel Required.
Role Overview:We are looking for a high-calibre, aggressive, and mission-driven sales leader to head our Institutional Sales function.
This leader will own revenue growth, build long-term partnerships with colleges and universities, and scale FACE Preps footprint across India.
This role is field-intensive, highly strategic, and directly influences the companys growth trajectory.
The role reports directly to the CEO and manages a large, distributed field sales team.
Key Responsibilities:Revenue & Growth Leadership:- Own and deliver company-wide revenue targets through institutional partnerships.
- Drive growth across:
- Employability programs.
- Academic credit-linked courses.
- Industry-aligned degree programs.
- Build a predictable, scalable sales engine for B2B institutional sales.
Institutional Partnerships:- Lead engagement with:
- College managements.
- Vice Chancellors, Registrars, Deans, Principals.
- Position FACE Prep as a long-term academic partner, not a transactional vendor.
- Negotiate and close high-value, multi-year institutional deals.
Sales Team Leadership:- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance field sales team across regions.
- Set clear targets, accountability, review cadence, and performance culture.
- Drive discipline in pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM usage.
Strategy & Market Expansion:- Identify new market opportunities across:
- Private universities.
- Autonomous colleges.
- State and central universities.
- Provide market feedback to product and academic teams.
- Help shape new offerings aligned with institutional needs and regulatory frameworks.
Candidate Profile:Experience:- 12 to 18 years of experience in sales leadership.
Strong B2B sales background, preferably in:
- Higher education.
- EdTech (institutional side).
- Academic services / skilling partnerships.
- Proven experience selling to colleges and universities.
- Prior experience managing large field sales teams.
Skills & Mindset:- Aggressive, target-driven, and execution-focused.
- Strong executive presence comfortable engaging with senior academic leadership.
- Deep understanding of long-cycle, consultative B2B sales.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and build structure at scale.
- High ownership, resilience, and hunger to build something category-defining.
