Role Overview

The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging business objectives with data-driven decision-making.

This on-site position, based in Coimbatore, requires strong analytical acumen, stakeholder engagement capabilities, and a structured approach to requirement gathering and process improvement.

The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with product, operations, sales, and technology teams to translate business needs into actionable insights, enhance operational workflows, and support strategic initiatives.

This role demands precision, clarity in communication, and the ability to drive alignment across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities including requirement gathering, documentation, and validation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business goals and convert them into technical and operational specifications.

- Analyze existing business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend optimized workflows and solutions.

- Develop detailed BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps, and workflow diagrams.

- Support product teams with requirement clarifications, backlog prioritization, and functional testing.

- Conduct data analysis to generate insights, trends, and performance indicators that support strategic decision-making.

- Facilitate review meetings, requirement workshops, and UAT sessions with internal and external teams.

- Ensure timely communication, version control, and traceability of all requirements and process changes.

- Continuously monitor business operations to identify gaps, risks, and enhancement opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in business analysis frameworks and methodologies.

- Proven experience in evaluating, designing, and improving business processes.

- Ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements with clarity and accuracy.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.

- Familiarity with tools such as MS Excel, Power BI/Tableau (preferred), process mapping tools, and documentation platforms.

- Strong critical-thinking ability and the capability to work in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

- Bachelors/Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

- Prior experience in EdTech, IT, or a similar technology-driven ecosystem is an advantage
