About the role: We are seeking an experienced Manager - Finance with a strong background, preferably in Retail to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity of financial information, compliance with regulations, and overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities: 1. Manage and oversee the entire operations of the Finance from proper accounting methods to complete annual audits. 2. Lead the preparation, analysis, and distribution of regular and ad-hoc financial and business performance reports (e.g., P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, KPIs), identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. 3. Prepare, present and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial records. 4. Manage cash flow effectively, ensuring liquidity and timely payments. 5. Prepare budget forecasts and financial models including but not limited to analyzing financial data to support business decisions. 6. Partner with business leaders to support forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling. 7. Automate and streamline reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. 8. Drive initiatives to enhance financial visibility and transparency across the organization. 9. Ensure compliance with internal reporting standards and audit requirements. Qualifications: a. MBA (Finance) / CA b. 4 - 6 years of progressive experience in finance, with a focus on Retail. c. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. d. Experience in handling FP&A and MIS reporting e. Excellent knowledge of financial management principles and practices
