Job Title: Manager, Accounts

Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

The Manager, Accounts will support the accounting department in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise bookkeeping operations, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded.

- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.

- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and reports.

- Liaoning with Auditors (Internal & External) for timely closure of Audits.

- Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and communicate effectively with vendors.

- Implement and maintain effective bookkeeping practices and procedures.

- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and compliance with company policies.

- Train and mentor junior accounting staff in best practices for bookkeeping and financial record management.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls related to financial reporting.

- Generate financial reports as needed to support decision-making processes. Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant must

- 2-3 years of experience.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally etc.) and Microsoft Excel.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Working with Big4 or Start-ups is preferred.
