
Job Description:
EY's Government & Public Sector (GPS) Advisory practice is seeking a Team Lead cum Liaison Officer to head a multi-disciplinary Program Management Unit (PMU) focused on urban governance, municipal reforms, sanitation, and infrastructure development. The role requires proven leadership in managing complex government programs, policy evaluation, and stakeholder engagement with state, city, and donor-level institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
a) Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of technical experts for an Urban development and governance project.
b) Act as the nodal liaison between the PMU, government departments, donor agencies, and industry stakeholders.
c) Oversee preparation of program reports, dashboards, and policy notes for senior decision-makers.
d) Ensure compliance with project KPIs, timelines, and performance monitoring frameworks.
e) Support ULBs and state-level institutions through training, workshops, and knowledge sharing.
f) Consulting Add-on: Contribute to cross-sector EY GPS mandates such as digital governance, ease of doing business, and economic development advisory.
Requirements
a) Master's degree in Economics/ Engineering/Business / Urban Management/ Urban or City Planning/ Finance/ Public / General Administration
b) Minimum 8 years of professional experience with at least 2 years in donor or development agency projects (ADB, World bank, USAID, BMGF, UN, GIF etc)
c) Preferred: Big 4 or equivalent top-tier consulting experience in government/public sector advisory.
d) Strong expertise in program management, policy advisory, and stakeholder coordination.
e) Excellent analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.
