Job Title: Senior Manager - Finance Transformation

Job Role:

The Senior Manager will be involved in providing objective advise, expertise, guidance and specialist skills with the aim of achieving the project targets. The Senior Manager will mainly work with the EY team to:

- Lead client engagements and oversee across work-streams

- Develop solutions to the customer challenges and identify gaps and areas of improvement in finance operating model

- Design the target operating model (TOM) for future state processes for finance function

- Review activities such as engagement economics and receivables, project resources and team utilization

- Lead the delivery / execution of high-quality deliverables and manage service quality, brand and client expectations

- Contribute to brand development by writing articles, developing thought leadership and point-of-views

- Contribute to knowledge development and management

- Demonstrate significant industry / solution expertise

- Build a strong team and be a strong role model, mentor and coach

- Resolve people issues

- Support people development through guidance and feedback

- Ensure compliance to the firm's standards, processes and policies

- Contribute to the firm's initiatives in enhancing market leadership & growth, quality, people agenda and operational excellence

- Manage senior external/internal stakeholders independently

Professional Background:

- 9 - 13 years of relevant post-MBA experience - Consulting background (preferably) or Industry background (Business excellence / functional role/ Solution / Sales)

- Process optimization experience in process areas like Lead to Order (L2O), Order to Cash (O2C), Record to Report (R2R), and Procure to Pay (P2P).

- Experience in working on Go-to-Market strategy, Business diagnostics, business case analysis and planning, performance improvement of internal operations, RfP process,

- In-depth knowledge of the Finance domain. Should have worked in any one or more of the following sub-sectors of the technology sector - Global capability centers or SSCs, IT Services, Engineering Services, BPO, Semiconductor, Devices, Hardware, Software, Internet, and e-commerce

- Knowledge of current finance leading practices, technology landscape, trends, and solutions

- Relevant consulting experience with Big 4 is preferred

- Exposure to data management and analytics

Preferred Skills:

- Expertise in two or more of the areas listed - Finance Process transformation/ Go to Market Strategy / Finance tool implementation / Business Planning

- Hands-on experience on any ERP suite like Oracle, SAP and any other finance technology like High radius, Blackline, etc would be preferred

- Exposure to implementation of RPA/OCR/BI/Consolidation tools

- Experience with process mapping tools like Microsoft Visio, IBM Blueworks, Celonis etc.

- Hands-on experience with different data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI

Core skills:

Academic Background:

- B.E. / B.Tech. or CA + MBA (preferably from a premier institute such as IIMs, NITIE, SP Jain, XLRI, ISB, FMS etc.) with a good academic background

Base Location and Travel:

- Preferred locations: Mumbai and Pune

- Other locations: Bangalore/ Delhi

- The Sr. Mgr would be required to travel to client location
