EY - Senior Consultant/Manager - Investment Promotion

Key Responsibilities :

Investor Outreach & Business Development :

Identify and engage potential investors across sectors including :

- Automotive & EV

- Electronics & Semiconductors

- Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices

- Textiles & Apparel

- Food Processing

- Logistics & Warehousing

- Renewable Energy

- Aerospace & Defence

- GCCs & Digital Services

- Emerging & Sunrise Sectors (AI, Data Centres, Advanced Manufacturing, Deep Tech, Green Hydrogen, Circular Economy etc.)

- Develop and maintain relationships with CXOs, promoters, investors, site selection consultants and industry leaders.

- Conduct targeted investor meetings and investment roadshows.

- Build a strong pipeline of investment opportunities for Uttar Pradesh.

International Investment Promotion :

- Liaise with foreign chambers, trade bodies, embassies, consulates and business councils.

- Drive investment outreach targeting countries such as Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Germany, USA, UAE and other strategic markets.

- Support visiting investor delegations and facilitate business engagements.

Lead Management & Investor Facilitation :

- Track investment leads from origination to project grounding.

- Coordinate with state departments and Invest UP teams to address investor requirements.

- Support investors in location identification, policy advisory, incentives, land availability and approvals.

- Ensure regular follow-up and conversion of leads into investment projects.

Market Intelligence & Research :

- Monitor sectoral trends, investment announcements, expansion plans, M&A activity and emerging opportunities.

- Develop sector-specific investment propositions and investor targeting strategies.

- Prepare market intelligence reports for leadership.

Stakeholder Management :

- Engage with industry associations including CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, PHDCCI, SIAM, ACMA, EEPC, IESA and sector-focused bodies.

- Collaborate with investment banks, PE/VC firms and ecosystem partners.

- Represent Invest UP in conferences, trade fairs, investor meets and industry forums.

Reporting & Performance Management :

- Maintain CRM and investment pipeline databases.

- Prepare periodic reports on leads generated, meetings conducted and investments facilitated.

- Monitor progress of high-priority investment opportunities.
