Job Description :

EYs Government & Public Sector (GPS) Advisory practice is seeking a Policy & Leather Industry Expert to support large-scale industrial and economic development initiatives in the leather and footwear sector. The role requires sectoral knowledge combined with consulting skills across policy evaluation, project screening, incentive management, industry engagement, and branding.

Key Responsibilities :

- Evaluate project proposals and Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for technical, financial, and policy alignment.

- Support the administration of industrial incentives through compliance review, monitoring, and reporting.

- Prepare periodic reports, dashboards, and policy impact assessments for senior stakeholders.

- Conceptualize and execute marketing & branding activities to promote the sector and attract investments.

- Assist in planning and organizing industry events, workshops, exhibitions, and trade fairs.

- Engage with industry associations, chambers, anchor investors, and export bodies for advocacy and facilitation.

- Added Advantage: Experience in manufacturing, leather/footwear sector, industrial policy advisory, or economic development projects.

Requirements :

- Postgraduate in Economics / Policy / Management / Engineering / Leather/footwear sector from a reputed institute.

- Consulting/advisory experience in public policy, project evaluation, industrial development.

- Preferred Big 4 or equivalent top-tier consulting experience.

- Strong understanding of industrial policies, incentive frameworks, and DPR evaluation.

- Demonstrated ability to work with industry associations, chambers, and public sector institutions.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
