Job Role and Responsibilities The Manager will be involved in supporting client engagements across Indian and Global clients, including: - Carry out complex and critical transformation initiatives in the finance function - Manage projects from initialization to completion, i.e. execution of assigned projects which deliver cost, service, and/or process and efficiency improvements - Understand and scope the project plan applying project management tools and methodologies. - Proactive focus in all aspects of Project Management and planning - Develop projects plans (key milestones, dependencies between projects, holistic effort, and financials) - Set up and maintain a detailed understanding of the program and project charter, scope, objectives, planning, status, key issues, and interdependencies - Identifying and addressing gaps in the as-is processes - Effective communications keeping all stakeholders informed and engaged - Astute ability to meet timelines and budget without dropping quality - Monitor and if needed report all relevant KPIs and deadlines - global or local stakeholders - Effectively work across multiple countries and functional teams to drive results - Utilize standard approaches to solving problems and enforcing project discipline - Keep project teams and workstreams on track relative to scope, schedule, and resources - Coach and mentor team members in continuous improvement if required - Validate bottom line impact of improvements and track operational KPIs - Resolve conflicts in any aspect of project work and process changes - Positively impact the organization through focus on continuous improvement - Serve as a change agent by leveraging influential stakeholders to accelerate program deliverables - Provide feedback to improve project management process using necessary tools - Draft, negotiate and execute agreements (along with Legal team) - Own the delivery / preparation of high-quality deliverables and service quality, brand and client expectations - Contribute to brand development by supporting Business Development, Thought Leadership and Industry connect activities - Ensure compliance to the firm's standards, processes, and policies - Manage senior external/internal stakeholders independently Professional Background - 5-8 years of experience in finance transformation, project management and finance tool deployment - Exposure to one or more of the technologies listed - Blackline, High Radius, ERP -SAP/ Oracle - PMP and/ or CSM certified or any equivalent certification - Knowledge of end to end finance processes and lifecycle - Knowledge of current leading tools, trends, and leading practices - Ability to quickly understand, connect the dots and translate business priorities into finance implications and action focus. - The ability to assess, connect the dots and adjust to the impact of external and internal, priorities. - Strong analytical, problem solving, initiative, influencing, teamwork skills. - Demonstrated ability to work and deliver results in a dynamic highly matrixed and team-oriented environment; able to build network, develop alliances and work through people. - Strong execution capability
