The opportunity:
The objective of our advisory risk services is to provide clients with a candid and reliable overview of their risk landscape. Our solutions can be used by our clients to build confidence and trust with their customers, the overall market and when required by regulation or contract. You will be responsible for executing client related engagements in the areas of governance, risk & compliance (GRC), internal audits, process reviews, standard operating procedures, enterprise risk management, revenue assurance, IFC, Clause 49 assistance.
Your key responsibilities:
- Proven implementation, change management and benefits realization experience on large scale programs.
- Knowledge of the Asset Management industry, Middle office aspects such as Corporate actions, Reconciliation, Trade life cycle external environment.
- Manages the project business case, and tracking of actual costs against the plan.
- Oversees the tracking of project/s risks/issues/dependencies, assesses the impact and takes action to minimize impact, actively challenging and removing obstacles.
- Drills down to solves problems applying analysis skills as required.
- Adopts the Groups Business Transformation Framework and leads the project through required tollgates.
- Ability to clearly articulate business and regulatory implications of analysis and findings.

- Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess what the firm can deliver to serve clients.
To qualify for the role you must have:
- A CA or master's degree in Science or master's degree in arts or master's in business, accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2-6 years of experience of relevant IA experience.
- Bring your significant experience in applying relevant technical knowledge in at least one of the following engagements:
1. Assessing internal controls frameworks, including testing of design and operational effectiveness.
2. Developing risk remediation strategies.
3. Performing and interpreting gap analysis.
4. Experience in Enterprise Resource Management and related risk analysis, process analytics, and business intelligence.
- We would expect for you to be available to travel outside of their assigned office location at least 50% of the time, plus commute within the region (where public transportation often is not available). Successful candidates must work in excess of standard hours when necessary. A valid passport is required.
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Good communication skills.
