About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and networked professional to lead and support strategic initiatives focused on the growth and development of the Global Capability Center (GCC) sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the location dynamics, talent ecosystem, regulatory environment, and policy frameworks influencing the GCC landscape in India and globally. Prior experience working with industry associations, think tanks, or advisory/consulting firms is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Ecosystem Development:

- Conduct comparative analysis of Indian and global locations for new and expanding GCCs.

- Design and implement strategies to strengthen local ecosystems supporting GCCs (start-up collaboration, R&D linkages, academia-industry connects, etc.).

- Work with government stakeholders to align skilling, infrastructure, and policy priorities with GCC needs.

- Support preparation of policy frameworks, incentive structures, and promotional tools for GCC attraction.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Liaise with government departments (state/central), industry bodies (e.g., NASSCOM, CII), and global investors to enable GCC-friendly ecosystems.

- Represent the firm/organization in key forums and roundtables on GCC/IT-ITeS policy and infrastructure.

- Build and maintain partnerships with real estate developers, talent partners, and innovation hubs.

Knowledge & Insights:

- Monitor global trends, sectoral shifts, and emerging technology areas within the GCC domain.

- Prepare insights, policy briefs, and location competitiveness reports tailored for the GCC community.

- Maintain a strong repository of use-cases, investment success stories, and benchmarking best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Master's degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, or related fields.

- At least 5 years of relevant experience in GCC advisory, industry association roles, or location development consulting.

- Deep understanding of GCC sector trends-especially in BFSI, tech, analytics, healthcare, and engineering R&D.

- Strong knowledge of talent availability, cost structures, infrastructure ecosystems, and state-level policy incentives.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and across public-private boundaries.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience working with government agencies or investment promotion bodies on GCC facilitation.

- Direct exposure to corporate real estate strategy, site selection advisory, or cluster development projects.

- Published articles or thought leadership on GCC-related subjects.
