Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver the monthly Opex reporting, produce management reports, variance analysis, and commentary.
- Support FRP planning process and ensure timely and accurate submission of budgets and forecasts.
- Provide insights and analysis on cost drivers and trends to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand and explain variances and provide recommendations.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy of reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and governance requirements.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requirements as needed.
Technical Skill Requirements & Functional Knowledge:
- Qualified Accountant (CA, CMA, MBA, PG Commerce, Graduate Commerce) with 5+ years post-qualification experience in Financial and Management Reporting.
- Any Science/Arts graduates with relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis processes with strong working knowledge of reporting and automation tools - Qlik, Python, Tableau, VBA, SQL.
- Strong working knowledge of Financial Systems or Data Consolidation models is key (e.g., Omnia, TM1, HUB, TFD, and other similar systems) - Preferred.
- Experience in Data mining, analysis, Financial Statements, Audit/Controls.
- Commercial acumen - Good knowledge of Banking Business drivers, P&L and Balance Sheet.
- Ability to plan, lead and implement change to Business Frameworks.
- Create culture of innovation, experimentation including failure and learnings from those failures, sharing and collaborating.
- Effective communication and ability to interact with multiple employee levels/business partners.
- Prior experience in fields like cost, stress testing, forecasting process, financial and management reporting, budgeting and consolidation.
- Understanding and interest in how latest & future technology can be leveraged to improve reporting processes and controls.
Operational Requirements:
- Proven track record of implementing and operating processes.
- Operations management including process governance and stakeholder management.
- Experience in implementing and validating the effectiveness of process controls.
- Knowledge of risk management, ability to identify and mitigate operational risk and ensure the highest levels of operational excellence.
- Proven track record in managing the re-engineering, process synergies and technology-based solutions.
Personal Skill Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability with strong execution and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage risk factors.
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to articulate complex and technical information and convey concepts to the management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and multiple changes.
- Ability to effectively manage the compliance requirements of multiple service standards and associated controls.
- Ability to manage and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and data on a regular basis.
