Key Responsibilities:

1. Sector Development & Policy Implementation

a) Support implementation of state and central policies related to leather & footwear sectors.

b) Evaluate project proposals for leather, footwear, and allied sectors under industrial incentive policies.

c) Provide policy interpretation, implementation support, and feedback for continuous improvement.

d) Assist in cluster development planning, anchor investor strategies, and ecosystem strengthening.

2. Investment Promotion & Investor Facilitation

a) Lead investment promotion efforts for domestic and international investors.

b) Identify, engage, and handhold investors through the end-to-end project lifecycle.

c) Coordinate with government departments, district authorities, and industry bodies.

d) Support roadshows, B2B meetings, industry consultations, and global outreach initiatives.

e) Build and manage an investor pipeline and CRM for leather & footwear investments.

3. Global Partnerships & Trade Promotion

a) Support development of global partnerships with brands, manufacturers, and technology providers.

b) Analyze impact of FTAs, trade policies, and global demand trends on sector competitiveness.

c) Contribute to strategies for export growth, market diversification, and value-chain integration.

4. Analytics, Research & Economic Development

a) Conduct sector analysis covering investment trends, exports, productivity, and competitiveness.

b) Develop analytical reports, dashboards, and briefing notes for leadership and committees.

c) Assess employment generation, skill requirements, and local economic impact.

d) Support evidence-based decision-making using trade, financial, and economic data.

5. Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting

a) Engage with government, industry, and other stakeholders.

b) Prepare project reports, progress updates, policy notes, and presentations.

c) Track post-approval performance of incentivized units and sector KPIs.

d) Support monitoring, evaluation, and documentation requirements.
