The opportunity:

EY is looking for a suitable member for our team in Strategy practice. The role provides an opportunity to be part of the team which assist businesses in setting strategic goals and identifying the steps to meet them, analyse industry dynamics such as market size, growth, and share of leading competitors, identify

the business' unique competitive advantage and help create alignment among all business units and functions to support and enhance this positioning. Team offers clients with Business Model Reinvention, New Market Entry Opportunities and Digital Strategy and Innovation.

Your key responsibilities:

- Working on commercial due diligence, growth strategy and feasibility studies for private equity and corporates

- Working on engagements across the range of services, with focus on analysis of financial and MIS information on transactions, secondary research, primary discussions with industry stakeholders and report writing

- Support in the creation of thought leadership and knowledge artifacts

- Involved in various business development initiatives such as preparation of pitch documents, industry notes, scope of work, etc

- The role will evolve from engagement delivery to engagement management and pro-active business development over time

Your key responsibilities:

Technical Excellence

- Strong analytical skills and structured thinking

- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

- Proficiency with MS-Office (particularly, Power Point and Excel)

- Ability to manage client interactions

- Maturity and ability to engage at all levels of the organization

- Ability to work with tight timelines

- Attention to detail

- Ability to take initiative and take others along

- Willingness to travel within India and abroad

- Team Player

To qualify for the role you must have:

- MBA from a premier institute (Tier-I Indian B-school) with good academic background and high scores in finance/ economics and management subjects

- Preferred : 1-3 years of professional experience (post MBA) with strategic exposure on transaction

Ideally, you'll also have:

- Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.

- Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.

- Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)

- Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
