EY - Auditor - CA

As an Auditor at EY LLP in Lucknow, you will be responsible for planning and executing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio required for a Govt client. You will work closely with audit teams, finance experts, corporate houses, government officials, senior bureaucrats, and other stakeholders to assess financial statements, internal controls, and compliance against Govt schemes/ policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute audit engagements in accordance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables.

- Perform substantive testing of financial statement balances and disclosures to verify accuracy and completeness.

- Audit & coordinate verification of Capex, Opex, sales, invoices, ledgers, GST returns, etc.

- Check audit reports and communicate findings to client

- Collaborate with other team members and specialists to address complex audit issues and provide comprehensive solutions.

- Policy advocacy and promotion to corporate houses on behalf of the Govt client.

- Manage client relationships and maintain open communication to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in auditing principles, practices, and techniques.

- Proven ability to analyze financial statements, assess internal controls, and identify audit risks.

- Strong understanding of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, Ind AS) and regulatory requirements.

- Experience in statutory audit, taxation, indirect taxation, and Goods & Services Tax (GST).

- Familiarity with financial modeling and public policy considerations.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional certification.

- Adaptable to on-site work environment in Lucknow.
