Job Description Branch Manager Bangalore.
About the Role:
- Branch Manager has to develop the region as individual P&L center.
- Has to open an office, kick start business development activities, set up the team, start operations, assign and direct all work performed in the branch.
- He will have to manage staff, foster a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation.
- He will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement.
Roles And Responsibilities:
- Define the strategic priorities of the branch to grow the business.
- Business Development responsibilities.
- Identity and develop new customers.
- Corporate client management and development.
- Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
- Develop budgets and targets for the financial year and present the progress of those budgets to management.
- Operational responsibilities.
- Manages the logistics function and personnel within assigned area of responsibility.
- Plan logistics operations for clients including coordination of transportation and communication with vendors.
- Handling all primary communications and escalations with agents and customers.
- Taking all intra branch escalations and mitigating the same.
- 100% bill preparations and documents submission to clients.
- Evaluate and improve team processes and procedures maximize efficiency and increase value to the customer.
- The branch manager will be responsible for creating and developing an new business unit as P&L center, which involves business development, people management activities for the branch including performance management of direct/ indirect reportees, recruitment, and career development.
- Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Graduate/Post Graduate preferred with relevant knowledge on Customs clearance (Import & Export) activities, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, and Business Development.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in senior roles such as Asst /Dy Manager sales, Manger / Sr.
- Manager Sales, Asst .
- Branch Manager / Branch Manager or in similar role.
- Should have complete knowledge in the assigned region such as potential market, potential customers, available opportunities of growth, existing contacts with all partners like customers, vendors etc.
- Ability to develop a branch and successful P&L center.
- Ability to meet sales targets and Operations goals.
- Import and export customs clearance knowledge.
- Excellent written and oral communication and writing skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to streamline operations and make improvements for our clients.
