Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to drive our Export Sales business for our waterproofing membranes, synthetic leather, and vinyl flooring products in the Middle East region.
- The ideal candidate shall need to have a proven track record in B2B sales, a deep understanding of the construction & interior design industries, and strong relationships with distributors, architects, contractors, and developers in the target markets. This role requires extensive travel within the Middle East and a strategic approach to market penetration and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Market Strategy & Business Development:
- Develop & execute a comprehensive export sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the Middle East.
- Identify, research, & penetrate new markets and customer segments.
- Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
- Create a robust pipeline of new business opportunities and manage the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
B. Sales & Account Management:
- Manage existing accounts and grow new accounts while actively seeking out new distributors, agents, and key customers.
- Build & maintain strong, long-term relationships with architects, specifiers, interior designers, contractors, and developers.
- Provide technical presentations, product demonstrations & samples to potential and existing clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the internal team (production, logistics, marketing) to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer service.
C. Sales Operations & Reporting:
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including forecasts, sales pipeline status, and market feedback.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and develop action plans to address any shortfalls.
- Manage sales budgets and track expenses.
- Provide training and support to local distributors and their sales teams.
Qualifications:
Education: Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in export or international sales, with a significant focus on the Middle East region.
- Demonstrated experience in selling building materials, construction products, or interior design materials (e.g., flooring, membranes, textiles). Experience with waterproofing membranes or, synthetic leather, or vinyl flooring will be an added plus.
Skills & Competencies:
Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of the technical specifications and applications of waterproofing membranes, synthetic leather, and vinyl flooring.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in a diverse, international environment.
Travel: Willingness & ability to travel extensively throughout Middle East
Other:
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
