
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Export Sales Manager to drive aftermarket and spare-parts business across assigned international markets. The role will be responsible for export sales growth, dealer and distributor management, new business development, sales target achievement, and end-to-end order fulfilment.
- Develop and execute export sales strategies for spare parts and aftermarket products across assigned international markets.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with overseas dealers, distributors, and key customers.
- Identify new markets, customers, dealers, and business opportunities to expand the international distribution network.
- Drive aftermarket sales of spare and wear parts for heavy, construction, mining, and industrial equipment.
- Understand market and dealer requirements and provide appropriate product, pricing, technical, and promotional support.
- Develop and implement market-specific pricing and promotional strategies in coordination with internal teams.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, customer demand, and pricing to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely order processing and fulfilment.
- Track export orders and shipments and proactively resolve supply, logistics, documentation, and delivery issues.
- Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, market analysis, and performance dashboards for management.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs requirements, documentation, Incoterms, and company policies.
- Drive dealer engagement and market development initiatives to improve sales penetration and customer retention.
Required Candidate Profile:
- 6 - 11 years of experience in Export Sales, Parts Sales, Aftermarket Sales, or International Sales.
- Strong experience in construction equipment, heavy equipment, mining, material processing, industrial equipment, or related industries.
- Proven experience in aftermarket/spare-parts and wear-parts sales.
- Experience managing international dealers, distributors, and customers.
- Exposure to MEA, Southeast Asia, and South Asian markets preferred.
- Strong understanding of export processes, documentation, customs, logistics, and Incoterms.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing international markets.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, relationship-management, and business-development skills.
- Good understanding of pricing, sales forecasting, market analysis, and distributor management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and sales analytics tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
