Export Operations Manager - Compliance

A detail-oriented professional to manage backend export operations, including documentation, licensing, and coordination for our growing export markets.

Role Overview:

- Handle backend export processes and ensure smooth operations.

- Prepare all required export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and health certificates.

- Ensure compliance with licensing and certification requirements such as IEC, FSSAI central license, APEDA registration, EIA/EIC certification, Halal certification, and AGMARK certification.

- Support exports to Southeast Asia, Nepal, and the UAE and other countries as require.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of export orders.

- Coordinate and follow up with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely payments and receivables .

- Maintain accurate records and assist management in reporting on export operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end export documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.

- Coordinate with SCM, Costing, Finance, and Quality teams for accurate processing of export orders.

- Liaise with logistics partners, customs authorities, and government bodies for smooth operations.

- Maintain records of all export-related documentation and licenses.

- Support management with reporting on export performance and compliance.

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills:

Key Requirements:

- 3-4 years of experience in export operations, documentation, or compliance in FMCG preferably in cold chain or dairy products.

- Strong knowledge of export documentation, licensing, and regulations.

- Familiarity with export procedures for Southeast Asia, Nepal, and the UAE.

- Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills.

- Proficient in MS Office and SAP systems.

- Masters degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, or related field.

- 3-4 years of experience in export operations, documentation, or compliance in FMCG preferably in cold chain or dairy products.

- Strong knowledge of export documentation, licensing, and regulations.

- Familiarity with export procedures for Southeast Asia, Nepal, and the UAE.

- Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills.

- Proficient in MS Office and SAP systems.

Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical):

- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.

- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple backend processes independently.

- Strong focus on accuracy and compliance in all export activities.

- Good collaboration skills
