We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Export Manager to lead and expand our international business across key global markets. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing exports for a D2C or FMCG brand, with hands-on expertise in distributor management, regulatory compliance, and international market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. International Market Expansion
- Identify and develop new export markets (GCC, North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, etc.)
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new territories.
- Appoint and manage distributors, channel partners, and international retailers.
- Evaluate market entry models (distributors, marketplaces, cross-border e-commerce).
2. Distributor & Channel Management
- Lead negotiations on commercial terms, pricing, and margins.
- Drive primary and secondary sales targets.
- Monitor distributor performance, inventory levels, and sell-through.
- Build strong relationships with key accounts and trade partners.
3. Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with export documentation, labeling norms, and country-specific regulations.
- Coordinate with regulatory consultants for product registrations.
- Oversee logistics, freight forwarding, and shipment tracking.
4. P&L Ownership
- Own export revenue targets and margins.
- Monitor pricing strategy to maintain profitability.
- Manage export budgets and forecasting.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with supply chain, finance, marketing, and product teams.
- Coordinate demand planning to ensure seamless supply.
- Align international marketing campaigns with local market needs.
Key Requirements:
- 6-10 years of experience in exports within D2C / FMCG / Consumer brands.
- Proven track record of expanding into international markets.
- Strong understanding of distributor management and global trade compliance.
- Experience in GCC markets preferred.
