Export Manager - Food Firm

One of our leading client into Food looking for a young Dynamic Export leader from excellent capability with deep understanding and hands-on experience in the East African market

This role will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence in East Africa. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in sales and geophysical knowledge to drive growth and foster strong relationships within the food FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of market trends and customer needs in West Africa.

- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate and grow the market.

- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key clients.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals.

- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all export regulations and standards for FMCG products.

- Performance Metrics: Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for management.

- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product development teams to align strategies.

- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to maximize profitability and market share.

Qualifications & Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

- 5 to 10 years of experience in export sales, preferably within the FMCG sector.

Knowledge:

- Strong understanding of the East African market dynamics.

- Familiarity with export regulations and compliance standards.

- Knowledge of food FMCG products and consumer behavior.

- Geophysical knowledge related to logistics and shipping in the region.

- Competitor landscape analysis in the FMCG sector.
