
Description: We are looking for an Export Manager Latin America to lead and scale our business across key LATAM markets. The role will own distributor-led growth, market expansion, regulatory coordination, and end-to-end export operations across countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Peru, and Central America.
The ideal candidate brings strong on-ground market understanding, distributor management experience, and the ability to grow profitable export revenues in complex international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion & Business Development:
- Develop and execute export growth strategy for Latin American markets
- Identify, appoint, and manage distributors, importers, and channel partners
- Drive annual business plans, revenue targets, pricing, and margin management
Distributor & Channel Management:
- Manage distributor performance, secondary sales, and market execution
- Support distributors with product launches, GTM strategies, and trade marketing
- Conduct regular business reviews and joint planning with partners
Regulatory & Compliance:
- Coordinate with regulatory teams for product registrations, labeling, and compliance
- Ensure adherence to country-specific import regulations and documentation
- Work closely with logistics, finance, and legal teams to ensure smooth exports
Export Operations:
- Oversee order processing, forecasting, inventory planning, and shipment execution
- Manage logistics partners, freight forwarders, and export documentation
- Monitor receivables, credit limits, and payment cycles
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Track competition, pricing, consumer trends, and channel dynamics
- Provide market insights and recommendations to leadership
- Prepare monthly/quarterly performance and forecast reports
What Were Looking For:
- 7-12 years of experience in exports / international business, with hands-on exposure to Latin America markets
- Proven experience managing distributors in LATAM
- Strong understanding of import regulations, customs, and documentation
- Experience in FMCG, food, cosmetics, pharma, or consumer products
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and cross-cultural communication skills
- Willingness to travel across Latin America as required
