About the Role

- Lead and expand global exports of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and veterinary products

- Strengthen overseas sourcing and customer relationships

- Drive business growth across regulated and semi-regulated international markets

- Ensure full compliance with export regulations and documentation standards

Educational Qualifications

- Graduate or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business, or related discipline

- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical export regulations and global markets

Core Responsibilities

- Lead export sales and business development for APIs and veterinary products

- Develop and manage global customer base across key international markets

- Handle merchant exports and coordinate procurement with suppliers

- Manage key accounts and maintain long-term customer relationships

- Ensure compliance with export documentation, regulatory norms, and trade laws

- Coordinate with manufacturing, QA, logistics, and regulatory teams

- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts with overseas clients

- Monitor global market trends and identify new business opportunities

- Represent the company at international exhibitions, meetings, and trade forums

- Ensure timely execution of export orders and collections

Skill Sets & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of API and veterinary pharmaceutical markets

- Hands-on experience in international business development and exports

- Expertise in export documentation, INCOTERMS, and trade compliance

- Understanding of GMP, WHO-GMP, and quality-driven supply environments

- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills

- Ability to manage merchant exports and supplier coordination

- Market research and strategic planning capabilities

- Willingness to travel internationally and represent the company globally

Preferred Experience

- 5+ years of experience in API exports

- Exposure to regulated international pharma markets

- Prior experience in business development for pharmaceutical export
