Primary Title: Export Consultant Apparel & Sporting Goods

About The Opportunity

A fast-moving exporter operating in the Sports and Apparel manufacturing & global-trade sector, focused on shipping finished garments and sports goods to international retailers and distributors.

We serve major overseas markets and maintain end-to-end export operationsorder-to-delivery requiring disciplined documentation, customs compliance, and tight coordination with commercial teams and logistics partners.

Role & Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end export operations for apparel and sports goods from order confirmation to delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

- Prepare, review and dispatch all export documentation: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and related paperwork.

- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines and customs brokers to book shipments, secure space and clear consignments on time.

- Handle LC transactions and export payment documentation; liaise with banks to ensure timely issuance/closure of Letters of Credit and related documents.

- Track shipments, update stakeholders on ETAs, manage claims or discrepancies, and follow up on B/L issuance and original docs dispatch.

- Ensure compliance with export regulations, Incoterms application, packaging specifications and buyer-specified requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

- Proven experience in export operations for apparel or sporting goods.

- Practical knowledge of export documentation and customs clearance procedures.

- Working knowledge of Incoterms and Letter of Credit processing.

- Ability to coordinate with freight forwarders and manage shipment tracking.

- Proficiency in MS Excel for documentation, packing lists and shipment logs.

- Strong attention to detail and experience handling export compliance checks.

Preferred

- Experience using ERP systems (e., SAP/Tally) for order and shipment management.

- Familiarity with international buyer portals and retailer compliance programs.

- Exposure to European and North American shipping routes and regulatory requirements.
