About the Role: Technical Project Manager

- The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and guiding a multidisciplinary team to ensure successful project delivery.

- This role requires a blend of team management, project planning, and technical expertise, along with experience in leading data projects and working with stakeholders. Hands-on experience with Databricks, Cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) , Data Engineering, and leading teams handling such projects is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of data engineering, data scientists, technical analysts, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Develop and oversee project plans, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.

- Lead and manage data projects from conception to completion, ensuring the integration of advanced analytics and AI solutions.

- Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide updates, and ensure their needs are met without any escalations.

- Utilize both technical and functional skills to bridge the gap between IT and business teams, ensuring seamless project execution.

- Perform business analysis to gather and document requirements, perform gap analysis, and translate business needs into technical specifications.

- Ensure the quality & integrity of data solutions through rigorous testing and validation processes.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve team processes, tools, and methodologies.

- Leverage hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure and Data Engineering to guide and support the team in implementing effective data solutions.

- Provide leadership and direction to teams handling Databricks, Azure and Data Engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Master's degree from a Tier-1/Tier-2 Institute (IITs, IIMs, ISB, BITS Pilani, NITs or equivalent)

- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in team management and project execution within cost per the defined scope and as per the timelines.

- Proven experience in leading data projects and managing stakeholders.

- Hands-on experience with AWS, Databricks, Data Engineering & visualization tool (power BI , Tableau, Qlik)

- Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of data science, analytics, & AI technologies.

- Functional expertise with the ability to perform business analysis and translate business needs into technical solutions.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
