As a Practice Lead, you will be responsible for driving the design and implementation of scalable data solutions using cloud platforms such as Databricks, Azure, and AWS. This role involves leading a team of data engineers, setting strategic directions for projects, and ensuring adherence to best practices in data architecture, data management, and analytics. In addition to technical leadership, you will also manage relationships with OEM partners to strengthen our service offerings and maintain alignment with evolving partner technologies.

We are looking for a seasoned Practice Lead to spearhead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade data solutions leveraging cloud platforms such as Databricks, Azure, and AWS.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures using Databricks, Azure, and AWS.

- Develop and execute data engineering strategy aligned with organizational goals and client needs.

- Manage OEM relationships to leverage partner technologies and enhance our data solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that enhance decision-making processes.

- Mentor and guide a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

- Establish best practices for data governance, quality, and security across all data solutions.

- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within practice.

- Manage stakeholder relationships and provide technical leadership in client engagements.

- Oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Master's degree from a Tier-1/Tier-2 Institute (IITs, IIMs, ISB, BITS Pilani, NITs or equivalent).

- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Databricks, Azure, and AWS.

- Proven track record of leading and managing data engineering teams.

- Experience in managing OEM relationships to enhance product offerings and integration.

- Proven expertise in advising clients on strategic Data Platform roadmaps, including the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable data engineering solutions aligned with business objectives.

- In-depth knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop) and data pipeline tools.

- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.

- Relevant certifications in Databricks, Azure, or AWS are a plus.
