Description:


Account Management & Relationship Building:


- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.

- Develop a deep understanding of clients' logistics and supply chain requirements, trade lanes, and business objectives.

- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with decision-makers and influencers at multiple organizational levels.

- Conduct regular business reviews and present performance insights, improvement plans, and strategic recommendations.

Business Development & Growth:

- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across air, sea, and road freight, warehousing, and customs clearance services.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and service agreements in line with company guidelines.

- Collaborate with internal sales teams to identify new lanes, trade routes, or value-added logistics solutions for existing accounts.

- Achieve revenue, volume, and profit targets for assigned accounts.

Operational Coordination:

- Work closely with operations, pricing, and documentation teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of shipments.

- Resolve service issues and operational bottlenecks in coordination with cross-functional teams.

- Monitor shipment performance, service reliability, and adherence to key SLAs and KPIs.

- Ensure compliance with all international trade, customs, and regulatory requirements.

Reporting & Analytics:

- Prepare detailed monthly/quarterly reports on account performance, trends, and forecasts.

- Track revenue, gross profit, and margin performance per customer to ensure commercial viability.

- Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and insights on emerging trade trends.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: MBA preferred.

- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in key account management, client servicing, or business development within freight forwarding or logistics.

- Proven track record in handling large multinational accounts and achieving growth targets.

- Solid understanding of air, sea, and multimodal transport, Incoterms, customs regulations, and international shipping processes.

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; knowledge of freight management systems is an advantage.
