Expert - Strategy & Transformation

Description:

We are seeking a highly driven Expert Strategy & Transformation to lead enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and drive business transformation for a fast-growing lifestyle retail organization.

This role will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to translate vision into execution, enabling sustainable growth through structured planning, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Growth

- Develop and drive enterprise-level growth strategies across retail expansion and new business categories.

- Identify and evaluate new opportunities for business scaling and market expansion.

Financial Planning & Analysis

- Lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Planning (LRP) processes.

- Drive financial planning including EBITDA, ROI analysis, and forecasting.

- Build detailed financial models to support strategic initiatives.

Transformation & Execution

- Lead and drive end-to-end transformation initiatives across functions.

- Ensure alignment between strategy and execution through structured program management.

- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.

Investment & Business Case Development

- Evaluate and drive strategic investments, partnerships, and new initiatives.

- Conduct due diligence and build strong business cases for decision-making.

Performance Management & Governance

- Design and track dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics.

- Lead Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

- Monitor business performance and drive continuous improvement.

Leadership Collaboration

- Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership on key strategic decisions.

- Support board reviews, presentations, and executive-level reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6 - 10 years of experience in strategy, consulting, or transformation roles.

- Background in MBB / Big4 / Retail / FMCG / Consumer businesses preferred.

- Strong expertise in strategic planning, financial modeling, and business analysis.

- Experience driving large-scale transformation and growth initiatives.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and structured thinking skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Educational Qualifications

- MBA / PGDM (Finance or Strategy) from a Tier-1 institute preferred

- CA qualification is an added advantage
