Description:

- The Claude Solutions Architect is the technical solutioning lead for EXL client engagements built on the Claude (Anthropic) platform.

- The role designs RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and MCP-based integrations using the Claude API and Claude Code, translating client requirements into secure, scalable reference architectures.

- Operating within the India AI Center of Excellence and reporting to the Director, the architect partners with delivery, sales, and Anthropic partner teams across insurance, healthcare, and banking engagements.

- CCA (Claude Certified Architect) certification is required or in progress.

Responsibilities:

- Design end-to-end solution architectures on the Claude platform, including RAG pipelines, agentic (singleand multi-agent) workflows, and MCP-based integrations with enterprise systems.

- Act as the technical solutioning lead across client engagements in insurance, healthcare, and banking, owning solution design from discovery through delivery hand-off.

- Define patterns for tool-calling/function-calling, prompt orchestration, guardrails, and evaluation to ensure quality, safety, and policy compliance.

- Lead technical discovery workshops, effort estimation, and solution reviews with client and internal stakeholders.

- Produce reference architectures, solution design artefacts, and reusable accelerators for the Claude CoE.

- Partner with Anthropic teams on solution acceleration, enablement, and certification, and stay current with Claude model and Claude Code capabilities.

- Guide and review the work of GenAI engineers to ensure architectural consistency and delivery quality.

- Establish responsible-AI, security, and privacy controls appropriate to regulated BFSI and healthcare domains.

Must-Have Skills:

- 7-9 years of experience in solution architecture, AI/ML, or software engineering, with hands-on GenAI delivery.

- Claude & GenAI Architecture.

- Hands-on experience designing solutions with the Claude API and Claude Code, including agentic workflows and MCP-based integrations.

- Strong expertise in RAG architectures, embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and retrieval quality evaluation.

- Experience with orchestration frameworks ( LangChain, LangGraph) and prompt engineering/orchestration at scale. CCA (Claude Certified Architect) certification required or in progress.

Delivery & Domain:

- Client-facing solutioning experience across one or more of insurance, healthcare, or banking.

- Strong understanding of responsible AI, data privacy, security, and governance in regulated enterprise environments.

- Excellent communication skills-able to translate business needs into technical architecture and articulate trade-offs to senior stakeholders.

Good-to-Have / Preferred:

- Cloud architecture experience on AWS and/or Azure, including containerized deployment, CI/CD, and monitoring.

- Experience defining reusable accelerators, playbooks, or reference architectures for a CoE or practice.

- Familiarity with Claude Computer Use and emerging agentic-coding workflows.

- Additional cloud or AI architecture certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
