Please find the details below:  Position:Senior Manager/ Deputy General Manager- Telechannel  Business Unit:Marketing  Position Summary (Comprehensive summary of what the job exists to accomplish)  Key role in helping the company setting up an In-Bound and Out-Bound call-centre which will be an integral part of the new Direct to Consumer Channel  Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned)  Exide Life Insurance wishes to set up a Direct to Consumer Channel. The company has been selling products through traditional channels. There is a need to cater to the untapped and un-serviced customer segments where the traditional channels have not been very active or viable.  In addition, increasing online customer activity presents a low hanging opportunity to service such customers through online and offline fulfillment capabilities. Once relatively stable, the channel can help the company tap the Orphan customer base for cross selling.  The core deliverables of the role will be to set up the Tele-sales vertical of this new channel which will comprise of managing both In-Bound and Out-Bound calls. This role is directly responsible for revenue generation and lead the growth of this new initiative through telesales nationally.  This position will collaborate and work closely with all supporting functional teams including marketing, sales operations, product management, product marketing, support, finance and IT to ensure a world class sales experience for the consumers.  The key deliverables will include:  - Leading telesales teams to meet and exceed revenue targets by promoting best practices, tools and techniques for exceptional sales performance  - Retaining team thus ensuring steadily increasing productivity and better cost metrics  - Development of sales metrics and reporting capabilities that support productive, focused sales management discussions and activities  - Development of a training methodology designed to increase caller productivity  - Motivating and driving sales performance, ensuring compliance with sales methods and processes  - Monitor and ensure productivity of Telesales and Services Executives pan India  - Ensuring Pre-Decided targets for the team are met on a regular basis  - Acquire hourly/daily/monthly updates from the telesales managers  - Develops / Designs the inside sales go-to market sales plan, including KPIs, sales dashboards, trackers and all reports necessary to run business, set strategy and course correct based on trends and market changes  - Executes / Maintains / Implements against the sales strategy, including budget and personnel requirements  - Review the sales projection/pipeline process ensuring that sales milestones, on a daily/weekly basis, are met and projections remain accurate  - Evaluates the team and works closely with HR team and management to ensure we hire talent, provide them with the proper resources and taken action when appropriate  - Analyzing sales statistics and trends to determine business growth potential and focus  Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications (Framework required by the position)  - 7+ years of work experience in Tele-Sales and/ or Direct sales with the last 3 years managing tele-sales teams  - Success in managing/ increasing lead conversions and increasing revenue  - Fully conversant with LMS & dialler technologies  - Has managed targets and sales deliverables as part of core KRA  Rachitha  Exide Life Insurance.
