About Company - One of India's top seven consulting firms, a prominent name in the accounting and auditing sector Responsibilities: GST Compliance: - Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) across various states. - Stay updated on the latest GST laws, rules, and notifications and ensure organizational compliance. Litigation & Assessments: - Assist in the preparation of replies to GST notices and assessments. - Represent the company before tax authorities for assessments, audits, and appeals. - Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant case laws and precedents. Advisory & Planning: - Provide proactive advisory on GST implications of business transactions and new initiatives. - Conduct GST health checks and identify potential risks and opportunities. - Assist in structuring transactions in a tax-efficient manner. Qualifications & Experience: - Qualified Chartered Accountant with 0-1 year of experience in handling GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliation. - Hands-on experience in dealing with GST assessments, audits, and litigation. - Strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, regulations, and procedures. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
