Executive Director - Risk Data Management - Financial Services Firm

Our client is a global financial services firm with businesses in Asset Management, Wealth Management, Investment Banking and Hedge Funds, They are hiring for ED - Risk Data Lead role to be part of their Enterprise Risk Management team based in Mumbai.

Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end service delivery across Data & Reporting, executing prioritized data initiatives, implementing Global Data Quality Policy procedures, enable timely, accurate, and high-quality dashboards for senior management decision-making.

- Partner with Data Quality Governance Councils, Chief Data Office, Operational Risk Management, and Technology teams to oversee FRM data management and governance.

- Develop and implement enterprise-wide data quality standards across the division.

- Identify and drive process improvement and efficiency initiatives to deliver measurable business outcomes.

- Engage senior stakeholders, business leaders, and risk management teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective risk practices.

- Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance or a related discipline.

- 15+ years of experience in risk data with global asset management/investment banking firm.

- Strong understanding of risk management principles and financial products.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across a wide range of stakeholders.

- Excellent people management and leadership expertise.

- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
