Executive Director - Operations Risk & Control | Global Investment Bank | Mumbai

- We are currently hiring an Executive Director - Operations Risk & Control for a global investment bank based in Powai, Mumbai.

- This is a senior leadership role within Operations Risk & Control, responsible for strengthening the risk governance framework across global investment banking operations and driving a strong risk & control culture across offshore operations.

- The role will work closely with global stakeholders across Operations, Compliance, ORM, Technology and Front Office Supervision.

Location: Mumbai

Role Overview:

- The role will oversee the risk and control framework for global operations offshored to India, ensuring effective governance, control testing, risk monitoring and regulatory alignment.

- The individual will interact with senior stakeholders across regions including Asia, UK, US and Middle East, and will play a key role in risk oversight, audit engagement and operational governance.

- This is not a transactional operations role - it is a strategic risk oversight and control leadership role.

- Senior Operations Risk & Control practitioner

- Strong ability to articulate risk frameworks and emerging risks

- Experience managing global stakeholders and audit engagements

- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
