Job Title: Executive Director - Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) Operations

Role Overview:
The Executive Director - Head of CIB Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of the Corporate & Institutional Banking division within our India captive environment.
This position is pivotal in transitioning and managing operational activities, ensuring that service delivery aligns with global strategic goals. The successful candidate will lead high-performing teams, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and act as a key liaison between onshore stakeholders and the India-based operations teams. This role demands a leader who can navigate complex change across multiple jurisdictions while building long-term, trusted relationships.
Key Accountabilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Support and execute the strategic direction for CIB Operations in India, focusing on operational excellence, efficiency, and scalability to meet business objectives.
Operational Management:
- Develop, implement, and refine operational processes and procedures that enhance service delivery, mitigate risk, and support the overarching goals of CIB Operations.
People & Culture:
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operational teams. Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and high employee engagement.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with senior stakeholders globally to identify, develop, and implement best practices and innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Governance & Reporting:
- Provide comprehensive reporting and insights to the CIBO Leadership Team regarding the performance, achievements, risks, and strategic initiatives of the India Operations teams.

Experience & Qualifications:
Essential Experience:
- Transition Experience: Direct, hands-on experience in transitioning operational activities into an India captive/shared services environment is mandatory.
- Change Management: Significant experience driving and delivering complex change management initiatives within an operational environment across multiple legal jurisdictions and time zones.
- Relationship Building: Proven track record of building, managing, and maintaining in-depth long-term relationships with internal and external partners.
- Leadership: Extensive experience leading and developing large, multi-functional operational teams.
Desirable Experience:
- Good understanding of Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) products, industries, and associated operational workflows.
- Proven knowledge and practical experience in various project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Lean/Six Sigma).
Qualification Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field are essential. A postgraduate degree (MBA) or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Project Management, Lean Six Sigma) would be highly regarded.
