We are looking for a EA to the MD for a large retail company :

Key responsibilities include but are not restricted to the following :

1. Understand and shape the company's strategy and mission of the organization

2. Conduct research & data analysis to substantiate business decisions and develop actionable plans

3. Formulate the digitization strategy for the organization.

4. Work with the team to implement strategic Initiatives in alignment with existing business operations

5. Apply structured change management process and tools to support adoption of an initiative and monitor the progress of implementation by conducting impact analyses and review presentations with the board

6. Work closely with cross functional teams and external partners to align strategic direction, business processes, technology and systems, organization structure and business results

7. Forge new alliances with external business partners and vendors to facilitate short and long term implementation of initiatives across various functions : Sales, Marketing, Product, and Technology.

8. Provide support and insight into significant organizational changes (e.g. shift in strategic focus, mergers and acquisitions)

Analytics :

- Develop the Analytics & MIS plan for the organization Develop models that help objectively evaluate the success of initiatives launched and also provide insight for inputs / course correction

- Develop and validate hypothesis across verticals to provide insights and inputs on achieving the 3 - 5 year goals of the company

Strategic Alliances :

- Explore new business opportunities/business lines for revenue generation and growth.

- Establish requisite partnerships and alliances to incubate new opportunities.

- Constantly explore new ideas and liaison with partners to open discussions for strategic alliances Ideate,

- Conceptualize and incubate new opportunities.

- Support Business Development teams with proposals and presentations.

Key Performance Indicators :

- Quality and depth of business analyses to evaluate business cases and arrive at actionable insights.

- Alignment with the long-term vision of the firm, feasibility of the recommendations and structure of the implementation plans at an organizational level

- Achievement of results, rate of adoption of the initiated activities, extent of integration with the employees own project plans

- Measurable impact : Value creation, benefit realization of the implemented initiatives over a course of 3-5 years.

Requisite Skill Set :

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Prior experience working with extensive data & statistics, reporting and analytical tools.

- Ability to identify strategic opportunities and risks; formulate implementation plans and risk-mitigation tactics

- Strong Project Management Skills : Go-getter attitude to orchestrate end-to-end execution of an idea

- Demonstrate: Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable in succinct business documents and presentation

- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations and at all levels of organization

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships

- B.Tech with MBA with a minimum work ex of 9 years+ (combined) is a pre-requisite for this role.
