Key Responsibilities:
A. Executive Support to the COO
- Act as an operational right hand to the COO, managing all facets of the office including daily operations, reviews across business verticals and functions, strategic initiative execution, and executive communications.
- Own the rhythm of the COO's office - monthly business and functional reviews, board meetings, meetings for day-to-day operations and follow-through on action items.
- Facilitate alignment across functions by ensuring decisions and directives from the COO are clearly communicated, understood. acted upon and closed in time.
- Track the progress of strategic initiatives and provide the COO with a consolidated view of priorities, risks and blockers.
- Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and talking points for internal leadership meetings, board reviews, and external engagements.
- Manage the COO's priorities, agenda and time - ensuring focus on strategic commitments.
- Act as a liaison between the COO and all businesses and supporting functions, fostering collaboration and effective communication with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on objectives and initiatives.
B. Strategy & Business Initiatives
- Collaborate with the Strategy team on defining, scoping and executing strategic initiatives across business verticals.
- Lead end-to-end project management for cross-functional initiatives - defining objectives, milestones, owners and success metrics.
- Conduct primary and secondary research to support strategic decisions; build business cases, scenario models and opportunity assessments.
- Support new business evaluations, partnerships, and monetisation strategies by preparing structured analyses and recommendations.
C. Special Projects
- Take on time-bound special projects assigned by the COO requiring swift turnaround, independent ownership and senior-level stakeholder management.
- Represent the COO's Office in cross-functional task forces, vendor discussions, and industry interactions as required.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
- 6-8 years of total experience; prior experience in a CEO/COO's Office, Management Consulting or Corporate Strategy role strongly preferred.
- Experience in Media, Entertainment, OTT or Digital Media would have an advantage.
- Exposure to fast-paced, entrepreneurial organisations where ambiguity and pace of change are constants.
- Prior experience managing cross-functional projects with senior stakeholders.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication - ability to structure complex information into clear, crisp narratives for leadership audiences and carry out senior-level stakeholder management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable with business frameworks and data interpretation and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; ability to build compelling, insight- driven presentations independently.
- Independent ownership mindset - takes accountability, follows through without being told, and drives closure.
- Discreet, composed and professional when handling sensitive or confidential information.
Education
- MBA from a reputed institution (Tier 1)
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline.
