Role Purpose:
Person is responsible for shaping, driving, and monitoring the organization's long-term strategic agenda. Acting as the Managing Director's right hand, this role ensures that strategic priorities are translated into actionable plans, tracked rigorously, and adapted to changing market conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Lead the development of 2-4 year corporate strategy in alignment with MD's vision.
- Translate strategy into annual operating plans and measurable objectives.
- Monitor execution across business units, ensuring accountability and course correction.
Market Intelligence & Growth:
- Conduct market scans, competitor benchmarking, and scenario planning.
- Identify growth opportunities (new markets, partnerships, M&A).
- Provide insights to guide portfolio diversification and capital allocation.
Board & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Prepare strategic updates, board papers, and investor presentations.
- Support MD in articulating strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
Transformation & Change Management:
- Drive organizational transformation initiatives (digital, ESG, operational excellence).
- Ensure change programs are resourced, tracked, and embedded in culture.
Cross-Functional Alignment:
- Partner with CFO, COO, CHRO, and CTO to align functional strategies.
- Establish governance frameworks and decision-making cadences.
Risk & Compliance:
- Maintain enterprise risk register and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and ESG commitments.
