
Job Description:
We are hiring for an Executive Assistant / Manager - Strategy (Manufacturing) role based at the Corporate Office.
This is a high-impact strategic role reporting directly to the Joint Managing Director, responsible for driving manufacturing governance, strategic initiatives, financial oversight, digital transformation, and cross-functional execution across multiple manufacturing plants.
We are looking for candidates with 8-12 years of experience in Manufacturing Strategy, Plant Operations, Operational Excellence, Corporate Manufacturing, Supply Chain Strategy, Automation, or Strategic Projects. Candidates must have a B.Tech (Core Engineering) along with an MBA from a Tier-1/Premium Institute.

Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic professional to work closely with the Joint Managing Director in driving manufacturing excellence, strategic initiatives, operational governance, financial oversight, and cross-functional execution across multiple manufacturing plants. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong business acumen, analytical thinking, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manufacturing Strategy & Governance:
- Drive strategic manufacturing initiatives across multiple plants.
- Standardize Manufacturing MIS and KPI reporting.
- Monitor key manufacturing metrics including OEE, Yield, Productivity, Cost/kg, Rejection, Energy Consumption, and Inventory.
- Track action items from leadership reviews and ensure timely closure.
2. Financial Planning & Cost Optimization:
- Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare variance analysis.
- Monitor Capex and Opex budgets.
- Conduct ROI, IRR, and Payback analysis for capital investments.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
3. Strategic Projects:
- Track Greenfield and Brownfield expansion projects.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and execution.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Procurement, Finance, and Plant Heads.
4. Digital Transformation & Automation:
- Drive ERP, MES, IIoT, and automation initiatives.
- Coordinate with Corporate IT and plant teams for implementation.
- Track project milestones and ensure system adoption.
5. Executive & Business Support:
- Prepare Board presentations, leadership dashboards, and strategic reports.
- Develop executive summaries, concept notes, and business reviews.
- Support the JMD in strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.
6. Cross-functional Coordination:
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, R&D, and Corporate teams.
- Drive collaboration and ensure smooth execution of strategic initiatives.
