Execution Trader - Systematic Strategies (Dubai)

Our client, a Dubai-based proprietary trading start-up, is building AI-powered, medium-frequency quantitative trading strategies across crypto, FX, and equities markets. The firm is seeking an Execution Trader to play a critical role in translating alpha into realised P&L through efficient, data-driven trade execution.

This role combines market intuition with quantitative rigor, requiring strong ownership of execution quality and real-time decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute systematic trading strategies across crypto, FX, and equities markets

- Optimize execution using TWAP, VWAP, POV, and liquidity-seeking algorithms

- Monitor real-time market conditions to minimize slippage and market impact

- Adjust execution tactics based on volatility, liquidity, and order book dynamics

- Conduct Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) to identify inefficiencies and improve performance

- Collaborate with quant and technology teams to enhance execution algorithms

- Manage relationships with exchanges, market makers, and liquidity providers

- Oversee risk, exposure, and execution quality during live trading

Key Criteria:

- 2-5 years of experience in Execution Trading / Central Dealing within a hedge fund, prop shop, or institutional setup

- Strong understanding of market microstructure (crypto exposure preferred)

- Experience working with algorithmic execution strategies

- High level of comfort with data-driven analysis and performance evaluation

- Ability to make fast, disciplined decisions in high-pressure environments

- Exposure to C++ / execution algorithm design is an advantage

- Degree from a Tier-1 institution in a quantitative discipline preferred
