Position Details:

- Position Title: Executive Director Oil & Gas

- Industry: Oil & Gas | EPC | Industrial Manufacturing | Energy

- Location: India / Middle East / International

- Reporting To: Board of Directors / Managing Director

Role Overview:

- Provide overall strategic, commercial, and operational leadership for Oil & Gas and EPC businesses

- Drive business growth, profitability, and global market expansion

- Own end-to-end P&L responsibility and executive decision-making

- Represent the organization at Board, client, investor, and industry levels

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:

- Define and execute long-term business strategy for Oil & Gas and EPC verticals

- Lead market entry, country setup, and international expansion initiatives

- Identify and execute mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships

- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, investors, and clients

- Drive digital transformation and scalable business models

Commercial Strategy & Revenue Management:

- Own full P&L responsibility including revenue, margins, and cost control

- Lead commercial strategy, bidding, tendering, and contract negotiations

- Secure and manage high-value EPC and Oil & Gas contracts (USD 100M+ )

- Maintain strong relationships with NOCs, IOCs, EPC contractors, and OEMs

- Achieve high tender success rates through strategic pricing and risk mitigation

EPC Projects & Operations Oversight:

- Oversee execution of large-scale upstream and downstream EPC projects

- Ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and cost efficiency

- Supervise manufacturing, fabrication, supply chain, and site operations

- Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, IBR, and international standards

- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives

Leadership & Organization Building:

- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing leadership teams

- Lead cross-functional teams across sales, engineering, procurement, and projects

- Establish performance-driven culture, governance, and accountability

- Develop leadership pipeline and succession planning

- Promote innovation and operational excellence across functions

Risk, Governance & HSE:

- Identify and mitigate commercial, contractual, and operational risks

- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance norms

- Champion HSE culture with a zero-incident mindset

- Oversee contract administration, claims management, and dispute resolution

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong expertise in Oil & Gas EPC, upstream and downstream operations

- Proven commercial leadership and contract negotiation skills

- Strong P&L management and financial acumen

- International exposure across Middle East, India, and Asia

- Excellent stakeholder management and executive decision-making

Education:

- B.Tech / M.Tech in Engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial preferred)

- Degree from a reputed institute (IIT or equivalent preferred)

Experience:

- 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in Oil & Gas / EPC / Industrial Manufacturing

- Experience as Executive Director / Business Head / Country Manager / Commercial Director

- Proven success in scaling businesses and executing projects worth USD 250M+

- Experience leading large, multi-cultural teams across geographies
