Job overview:

The Vice President at Everest Group is a senior client-facing leader who advises C-level clients on critical global services decisions. The role covers location optimization, governance structures, workforce strategy, outsourcing and offshoring models, and cost optimization.


The Vice President will shape the strategy and growth of these capabilities, lead complex advisory engagements, and build trusted relationships with Fortune 1000 clients, service providers, and other market participants. The individual will own key elements of business development, capability building, thought leadership, team development, and project delivery. This includes custom research and advisory work, published research, client inquiries, and presentations at conferences and webinars. The role requires strong commercial judgment, executive presence, and the ability to develop practical recommendations for complex global sourcing questions. The Vice President will lead Practice Directors and analysts and will report to the Partner, Commercial and Solutions Analytics, at Everest Group.

Key responsibilities:

- Own the growth and development of key practice capabilities, including business development, research agenda, client delivery, and team development

- Lead complex advisory and custom research engagements, including problem solving, recommendation development, executive-level deliverables, and senior client management

- Lead and mentor Practice Directors, Senior Analysts, and Analysts to develop actionable insights through interviews, surveys, market research, and detailed quantitative analysis

- Build trusted relationships with C-level executives at major service providers and recipients of global services; advise them on strategic business issues, market positioning, and changing industry dynamics

- Build a strong external reputation as a recognized expert by engaging with senior market participants, speaking at public forums, and publishing leading-edge reports, white papers, and articles

- Collaborate with senior leaders and analysts across the company to connect location, talent, sourcing, and cost perspectives and provide clients with integrated advice

- Drive business development and revenue growth in collaboration with Sales and other practices, including shaping opportunities, leading proposals, and expanding senior client relationships

- Build a high-performing team by setting clear expectations and actively supporting the development, growth, retention, and mentoring of team members

- Maintain high standards of analytical quality, client impact, and adherence to Everest Group methodologies

- Demonstrated commercial orientation and the ability to identify, shape, and convert business opportunities

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook)

- High professional standards, sound judgment, and credibility with senior clients and colleagues

- A track record of contributing to practice growth, capability development, and market impact

Education and experience:

We are looking for a senior leader who can uphold Everest Group's standards and help grow the practice. The individual should possess:

- 10 - 14 years of experience in management consulting, business research, corporate strategy, or a related professional services environment

- A Bachelor's degree from a well-regarded college; an MBA from a Tier-1 Business School

- Significant experience with strategy or management consulting firms, corporate strategy teams within service providers, or strategy groups in Global Business Services or Global Capability Centers

- Deep knowledge of the outsourcing and offshoring industry, with the ability to interpret market trends and advise senior executives on their implications

- Proven ability to lead large, complex client engagements and influence C-level stakeholders

- A strong record of building and expanding senior client relationships

- Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and storytelling skills

- A collaborative leadership style and the ability to work effectively across practices and functions

- Willingness to travel as required
