Job overview  A market facing position that requires providing insightful analysis and advice to clients on one or multiple Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) markets through published and custom research. Role will include managing specific research agenda, helping clients through custom research engagements, authoring industry reports and thought papers, developing expertise in select field, and global interaction with buyers, service providers, and investors.   Key responsibilities  - Identify areas of research based on industry and client needs  - Problem solve and structure work to manage deliverables and timelines  - Lead medium sized custom engagements  - Set plan for internal growth and actively develop domain expertise, leveraging subject matter experts, and external sources  - Support business development efforts   - Refine business communication skills for external market communication  Skills & activities  - Strong problem solving skills and analytical capability  - Strong oral communication skills  - Strong written communication skills with attention to detail  - Project management skills: ability to multi-task, work under pressure and successfully manage to deadlines  - Self-motivated and able to prioritize and work independently  - Ability to interact and effectively work with others in a team environment  - Desire to be in an entrepreneurial environment; comfort with ambiguity   - Strong organization skills and leadership skills   - Motivated to excel in business  - Intellectual curiosity   - Proficient in Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook)  Solid business judgment, maturity in business communications, and professional in appearance  Education & Experience  - Bachelor's degree; MBA strongly preferred (from Tier-1 B-School)  - 3-4 years post-MBA work experience in consulting/research / outsourcing strategy environment. 4-6 years of work experience in case of non-MBAs  - Interest in outsourcing space and sourcing trends  - History of excellence in academics, personal and vocational achievements  Reporting relationships  - Reports to: Practice Director / Vice President
